Why HASL exists

Most founders get the wrong help at the wrong time. Cheap juniors when they need senior judgement. Generic checklists when they need a second pair of eyes. Engineering staffed by bodies-in-seats, when the first conversation should have been with the person who will actually build it.

The three things we believe

• Founders should spend their first conversation with the most senior person in the building — not the most junior.
• Architecture, security, and operational judgement should be embedded together, not bolted on separately.
• Speed is a feature, not a luxury. Six weeks to first cut is how serious technology gets built.

What we are not

We are not a body shop. We do not bid on RFPs. We do not take projects where the founder cannot articulate the business outcome they are trying to buy. If that sounds opinionated, it is — we built HASL specifically to be picky about engagements.
